Ethiopia is to launch COVID-19 vaccination drive for at-risk workers, the Ethiopia Ministry of Health announced.
ADDIS ABABA, July 15 (Xinhua) -- Ethiopia is to launch COVID-19 vaccination drive for at-risk workers, the Ethiopia Ministry of Health has announced.

In a statement on Wednesday, the ministry said the drive will target transportation sector workers, bank employees, customs workers, police officers, penitentiary staff, teachers, hospitality sector workers as well as media practitioners.
The Ethiopia Ministry of Health said at-risk sectors workers can receive COVID-19 vaccine jabs by showing their identification papers.
Ethiopia has registered 277,212 COVID-19 cases as of Wednesday morning, including 4,347 COVID-19 related deaths.
Ethiopia, Africa's second-most populous nation, reported the largest number of COVID-19 cases in the East Africa region.
