TOKYO, Aug. 7 (Xinhua) -- Jakob Ingebrigtsen of Norway won the men's 1500m final here on Saturday at the Tokyo Olympics.
Race favorite Timothy Cheruiyot of Kenya was in the lead but Ingebrigtsen made a late move to overtake Cheruiyot to finish first with a new Olympic record of 3:28.32.
Cheruiyot won silver at 3:29.01 and Josh Kerr of Britain took bronze in a personal best of 3:29.05. Enditem
