LUANDA, June 22 (Xinhua) -- The creation of the National Agency of Mineral Resources (ANRM) is a fundamental step towards restructuring the mining sector, Angolan minister of mineral resources, petroleum and gas said on Monday.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony of the ANRM's board directors, Diamantino Pedro Azevedosaid said that the newly created body emanates from the current government's commitment to improve the investment environment in the sector.
He said the inauguration of this new body, which is mainly responsible for regulating the mining sector, aims to solidify the constant dialogue with the business community and the main agents involved in this economic activity. Enditem
