Gunmen kill two Pakistani security personnel in Balochistan: army

ISLAMABAD, June 6 (Xinhua) -- The Pakistani army said Thursday that terrorists targeted security personnel in southwestern Balochistan province and killed two soldiers.

The troops were on security duties in Harnai area of Balochistan during the Muslim festival of Eid when the gunmen attacked them, according to the ISPR, the media wing of Pakistan army.

Security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to apprehend the attackers, the army said.

No group claimed responsibility yet.
