SEOUL, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) -- New Chinese Ambassador to South Korea Xing Haiming vowed on Thursday efforts for a greater development of relations between the two countries.
Xing made the remarks upon his arrival at the Incheon International Airport, west of the capital Seoul. His predecessor Qiu Guohong left South Korea late last month after about six years of service.
The new Chinese ambassador said the current China-South Korea relations have been developing very well and facing a significant opportunity to ensure the further development.
Xing pledged efforts for the greater development of the China-South Korea relations together with the Chinese embassy in Seoul and all walks of life in South Korea.
