TASHKENT, Oct. 8 (Xinhua) -- A gas explosion in a residential house in the Samarkand region of Uzbekistan has injured a man and damaged the property, Uzbek Ministry for Emergency Situations said Friday.
The incident occurred Friday morning due to a natural gas leak from an underground pipeline near the house, it said.
A man, who was a guest at the house, was hospitalized with 50 percent burn injuries, and an investigation is underway, the ministry said. Enditem
