BERLIN, July 28(Xinhua) -- A field fire has injured 68 people near a camping site in Germany's Lower Saxony, German local media Focus Online reported on Sunday.
The fire was ignited by a combine harvester in a field in the town of Cruxhaven on Saturday evening, and around 1,800 people nearby were evacuated, including 300 tourists, said local police.
A total of 68 people were injured and many of them inhaled heavy smoke.
Seven of the injured were hospitalized but none was life-threatened.
Local government has dispatched around 200 emergency workers and the fire was contained.
