Belarus reports 561 new COVID-19 cases, total tops 260,000

MINSK, Feb. 9 (Xinhua) -- Belarus reported 561 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, bringing its total to 260,060, according to the country's health ministry.

So far, 1,801 people have died of the disease in the country, including nine over the past 24 hours, the ministry said.

As of Tuesday, nearly 4.6 million tests for the virus have been conducted across Belarus, including 7,151 over the past 24 hours, according to official figures. Enditem
