Tourism in Yantai

With its beautiful scenery and pleasant weather, Yantai is regarded as an ideal summer resort and tourist attraction. The landscape and coastal scenery is picturesque and fascinating. There are also lots of scenic spots and historic sites in Yantai. The "Fairyland on earth"---- Penglai Pavilion is called one of the four famous towers in ancient times of China. The "Stone Inscription on Mount Yunfeng" is one of the Chinese calligraphy gems. There are other enchanted temples and structures such as "Yantai Yu Huang Ding" and relics of the eastern trip made by Emperor Shi Huang of Qin Dynasty, etc. Yantai is also famous for its hot spring. Every year there are over 100,000 foreign tourists coming from more than 30 countries and regions including the U.S.A., Germany, Japan, Hong Kong, etc.
